Rupee strengthens against US dollar on Friday
Nov-25-2022
Indian rupee strengthened against the US dollar on Friday in line with its Asian peers and on some less hawkish signals from the US central bank. Further, weakness in the American currency and steady crude oil prices also supported rupee sentiments. Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers in the capital markets on Thursday as they purchased shares worth Rs 1,231.98 crore, exchange data showed.

The partially convertible currency is currently trading at 81.56, stronger by 14 paise from its previous close of 81.70 on Thursday. The currency touched a high and low of 81.69 and 81.47 respectively.
