Aug-19-2026

JG Chemicals’ material subsidiary -- BDJ Oxides has acquired around 16.74 acres of freehold land at APIIC Industrial Park, Attivaram, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The acquisition is part of the company’s long-term strategy to expand its sustainable recycling and zinc-based product portfolio and strengthen its manufacturing footprint. The newly acquired land is located directly opposite BDJ Oxides’ existing manufacturing facility at Naidupeta, Andhra Pradesh, creating a strategically advantageous opportunity for future expansion.

The acquisition, with a total consideration of Rs 18.41 crore, plus applicable registration charges and other charges/levies, provides JG Chemicals with a ready platform for its future growth plans. The company intends to utilise the land for expansion of its sustainable recycling product portfolio and potentially develop additional manufacturing capabilities as opportunities emerge.

JG Chemicals is India’s largest zinc oxide manufacturer in terms of production and revenue for zinc oxide manufacturing through French process, which is the dominant production technology for producing zinc oxide and has been adopted by all the major producers in Americas, Europe and Asia.
