Juniper Green Energy emerges as winning bidder for 230 MW under e-Reverse auction conducted by SECI
Aug-08-2026

Juniper Green Energy has emerged as the winning bidder for 230 MW under the e-Reverse auction conducted by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for its 1000 MW FDRE Round-the-Clock (RTC) Renewable Energy tender. The company secured the capacity at a tariff of Rs 5.26 per unit.

The project further strengthens Juniper Green Energy's growing portfolio of FDRE and Round-the-Clock projects, reinforcing the company's ability to deliver reliable renewable power through integrated solar, wind, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions. The project will be backed by a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with SECI, with the Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) set at 24 months from the PPA Effective Date.

Under the tender conditions, the project will be required to achieve the prescribed Delivered Firm Round-the-Clock (DFR) commitments, including a minimum of 90% DFR during designated peak hours, 50-60% during solar hours, and 70% during non-solar, non-peak hours. It will leverage Juniper Green Energy's integrated development capabilities across solar, wind, and battery storage technologies to ensure consistent and reliable power delivery.

Juniper Green Energy is an independent power producer (IPP) in India which develops, builds, operates and maintains utility scale renewable energy projects through its in-house engineering, procurement and construction and operations and maintenance teams, and generates revenue through the sale of electricity to various off-takers, including central and state government-backed entities.
