Gland Pharma trades higher on getting USFDA’s approval for Sugammadex Injection

Gland Pharma is currently trading at Rs. 2487.80, up by 60.55 points or 2.49% from its previous closing of Rs. 2427.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2430.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2506.80 and Rs. 2430.00 respectively. So far 1.66 lakh shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2574.00 on 08-Jul-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1575.00 on 16-Mar-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2,506.80 and Rs. 2,365.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 41,256.42 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.77%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 39.18% and 9.05% respectively.

Gland Pharma has received approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for its Abbreviated New Drug Application filed for Sugammadex Injection, 200 mg/2 mL (100 mg/mL) and 500 mg/5 mL (100 mg/mL) Single-Dose Vials. 

The Product is bioequivalent and therapeutically equivalent to the reference listed drug (RLD), BRIDION Injection of Merck Sharp & Dohme LLC. The Product is indicated for the reversal of neuromuscular blockade induced by rocuronium bromide and vecuronium bromide in adult and pediatric patients undergoing surgery. 

According to IQVIA, the product had US sales of approximately $1.6 billion for the twelve months ending April 2026.
