Dec-18-2025

One 97 Communications’ (Paytm) wholly-owned subsidiary -- Paytm Payments Services (PPSL) has received authorisation from Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on December 17, 2025, to operate as a payment aggregator for physical (offline) payments and cross-border transactions (both inward and outward). With this, PPSL now holds payment aggregator licences across all key segments. Earlier, PPSL had received Certificate of Authorization (CoA) from RBI to operate as a online payment aggregator under the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007.
