Copper futures settle down on Friday
Jan-28-2023
Copper futures settled lower on Friday despite demand prospects in the world’s top metal consumer. Meanwhile, a firmer US dollar also makes copper more expensive for buyers using other currencies.

Copper futures for March delivery lost $0.0450 to settle at $4.2225 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper on the London Metal Exchange was down by 0.71 percent at $9,263.50 a ton.
