Gold futures trade lower in early trades of Monday

Gold futures traded lower in early trades of Monday, with the stronger dollar and as traders awaited for the US jobs data for cues over economic health. Even though, the yellow metal for the most active contract posted an advancement of 0.9% for the week and scored a 2.6% monthly rise of Friday.

Gold futures for December dipped by $0.1% to $1,814.90 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold was lower by 0.2% to $1,809.21 per ounce.
