Jul-31-2021

Copper futures settled lower on Friday after the world’s top metal consumer China released more base metals, including copper from its state reserves. Further, rising US dollar index too weighed on red metal prices.

Copper futures for September delivery lost $0.0410 to settle at $4.4825 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper on the London Metal Exchange was down 0.97 percent at $9,728 a ton.
