Copper futures settle higher on Thursday
Jan-15-2021

Copper futures ended higher on Thursday after President-elect Joe Biden outlined a $1.9 trillion stimulus package proposal yesterday. However, firmer US dollar and corona virus outbreak in the world’s top metal consumer restricted the gains.

Copper futures for March delivery gained $0.0475 to settle at $3.6645 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper on the London Metal Exchange was up 0.49% at $8,048.50 a ton.
