Copper futures end higher on supply concerns
Jul-08-2020

Copper futures ended higher on Tuesday as concerns mounted over supply disruptions from Chile, the world's top producer of the red metal. However, some gains were capped by surging corona virus cases around the globe that dimmed hopes for a global recovery.

Copper futures for September delivery added $0.0225 to settle at $2.7970 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper on the London Metal Exchange was up 0.97% at $6,188 a ton.
