Mar-26-2020

Gold futures ended lower on Wednesday, giving up some of Tuesday’s gains when it marked its biggest one-day rise in more than 10 years, as riskier assets such as equities rose sharply after the US Senate agreed to a massive $2 trillion relief package. The precious metal prices declined further even as the dollar lost substantial ground against other major currencies.

Gold futures for April settled 1.5% lower at $1,634.90 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold was inched up 0.1 percent to $1,612 per ounce.
