Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund introduces India Fixed Maturity Plans-Series 5 Plan A (1273 days)

Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund has launched the Franklin India Fixed Maturity Plans-Series 5 Plan A (1273 days), a close ended debt scheme. The NFO opens for subscription on October 22, 2018 and closes on October 29, 2018.  No entry load and exit load will be applicable for the scheme. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5000.

The scheme’s performance for plans with maturity period of 85 days up to 91 days will be benchmarked against CRISIL Liquid Fund Index, for plans with maturity period of above 91 days up to 3 years will be benchmarked against CRISIL Short Term Bond Fund Index, for plans with maturity period of above 3 years up to 7 years will be benchmarked against CRISIL Composite Bond Fund Index, and for plans with maturity period of above 7 years will be benchmarked against I-sec Libex Index and its fund managers are Umesh Sharma and Sachin Padwal-Desai.

The investment objective of the scheme is to generate income by investing in a portfolio of fixed income securities/ debt instruments maturing on or before the maturity of the Scheme.
