Copper futures settle higher on Monday
Nov-03-2026
Copper futures settled higher on Monday due to ongoing global supply constraints, even as persistent market jitters surrounding tech and artificial intelligence spending cast a shadow over industrial demand. Copper prices were improved further supported by falling crude oil prices following reports that Trump intends to prioritize diplomatic efforts over immediate military strikes against Iran, dialling back fears of a major escalation following the US midterm elections.

Copper futures for December delivery rose $0.0855 to settle at $6.5675 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper on the London Metal Exchange was up by 1.35% at $14,345 a ton.
