Gold futures finish lower as dollar firms
Oct-13-2026
Gold futures finished lower on Monday, saddled by the strength in dollar and on rising oil prices. Additionally, elevated Treasury yields, as well as caution ahead of critical US inflation data and upcoming corporate earnings dulled position taking.

Gold futures for December delivery down by $25.70 or 0.61% to settle at $4,190.60 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold rose by $16.78 or 0.40% to $44,189.01 an ounce.
