Oct-07-2026

Crude oil futures ended flat with positive bias on Tuesday, after recovering earlier losses, as traders balanced higher oil supplies against fears that Houthi attacks in Yemen could disrupt supplies. Meanwhile, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) projected that world petroleum production would drop from a record 106.3 million bpd in 2025 to 101.1 million bpd in 2026, and world oil demand will drop from a record 104.4 million bpd in 2025 to 102.4 million bpd in 2026.

Benchmark crude oil futures for November delivery rose by $0.01 or 0.01% to settle at $89.44 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for December delivery added $0.26 or 0.26% to settle at $100.58 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
