LIC Mutual Fund Asset Management announces change in details of directors

LIC Mutual Fund Asset Management (AMC) has announced addendum to the Statement of Additional Information (SAI) of LIC Mutual Fund.

LIC Mutual Fund has informed that, Ashis Kumar, who was serving as the Chief Operating Officer of LIC Mutual Fund Asset Management (AMC), has been appointed as the Managing Director (MD) & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the AMC with effect from September 26, 2026. He will continue to be designated as Key Personnel of the AMC. Accordingly, upon his appointment as Managing Director & CEO, Ashis Kumar ceased to hold the position of Chief Operating Officer with effect from the close of business hours on September 25, 2026. 

Pursuant to the above, the details of Ashis Kumar stand inserted under the section titled 'Details of AMC Directors' and updated with revised particulars under the section 'Information on Key Personnel', as set out below: 

Ashis Kumar, 56 Years, holds a BA (Hons), has completed a Post Graduate Executive Program and is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India. He is currently serving as the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of LIC Mutual Fund Asset Management since September 26, 2026.

Prior to this, Kumar served as the Chief Operating Officer of LIC Mutual Fund Asset Management from April 2026 to September 25, 2026, Regional Manager (Marketing), Karnataka, LIC of India from April 2025 to April 2026, Chief Investment at LIC Central Office, LIC of India from April 2024 to April 2025, Secretary, Investment at LIC Central Office, LIC of India from May 2022 to April 2024, Senior Divisional Manager, Bangalore 2 Division, LIC of India from June 2020 to May 2022, Senior Divisional Manager, Bangalore 1 Division, LIC of India from May 2017 to June 2020 and Deputy Secretary, Investment Back Office, at LIC Central Office, LIC of India from June 2015 to May 2017.

Further, the AMC has informed that, Ravi Kumar Jha, Managing Director & CEO of the AMC has resigned from the services of LIC Mutual Fund Asset Management, on account of his impending superannuation from LIC of India. Accordingly, he ceased to be a Key Personnel for the Schemes of LIC Mutual Fund from the close of business hours of September 25, 2026. 

This Notice cum Addendum forms an integral part of the SAI of LIC Mutual Fund as amended from time to time. All other contents of the SAI will remain unchanged.
