Gold futures trade lower in early deals on Monday
Sep-28-2026

Gold futures traded lower in early deals on Monday on account of firm dollar and rising bond yield notes. Additionally, surging crude oil rates oil prices, concerns over persistent inflation and intensified bets on tighter Fed monetary policies dulled investment appeal of the non-yielding bullion. The yellow metal for the most active contract had marked a weekly loss of 2.3%.

Gold futures for December delivery down by $94.50 or 2.19% to $4,226.70 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. Spot gold dipped by $86.92 or 2.03% to $4,197.89 an ounce
