Gold futures finish lower ahead of Fed policy meeting
Sep-16-2026
Gold futures finished lower on Tuesday, as the bets over tighter monetary outlook by Fed intensified followed by the higher-than-expected inflation metrics. Additionally, soaring global crude oil prices, rising bond yield notes and a firm dollar saddled yellow metal investments.

Gold futures for December delivery down by $19.10 or 0.43% to settle at $4,332.80 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold rose by $ 29.74 or 0.69% to $4,321.89 an ounce.
