Gold futures finish lower as dollar, bonds firm
Sep-11-2026
Gold futures finished lower on Thursday, amid the strength in dollar and on firming bond yield notes. Moreover, hotter-than-expected US wholesale prices data and surging oil prices have heightened bets on a Federal Reserve interest rate hike next week, dulling yellow metal investments.

Gold futures for December delivery down by $53.40 or 1.19% to settle at $4,407.30 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold rose by $ 11.45 or 0.27% to $ 4,329.64 an ounce.
