Gold futures finish lower on Thursday
Aug-14-2026
Gold futures finished lower on Thursday, after four straight sessional gains. Strong bond yield notes and technical correction saddled yellow metal rates. Gold had surged nearly 10% over the previous month due to weakening US employment data, ongoing geopolitical tensions and central bank accumulation.

Gold futures for December delivery down by $47.10 to 1.05% to settle at $4,420.40 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold dipped by $29.07 or 0.67% to $4,321.32 an ounce.
