Gold futures finish higher on softer dollar
Jul-31-2026

Gold futures finished higher on Thursday, kindled by the softness in dollar and on steady interest rate by Federal Reserve. Additionally, increased safe haven appeal amidst ongoing Middle East Tensions and as fresh inflation numbers eased in line with market expectations boosted the yellow metal investments.

Gold futures for December delivery surged by $63.6 to 1.55% to settle at $4,160.60 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold dipped by $27.06 or 0.66% to $4,076.35 an ounce.
