SBI Mutual Fund files offer document for Business Cycle Fund

SBI Mutual Fund has filed offer document with SEBI to launch an open ended equity scheme named ‘SBI Business Cycle Fund’. The New Fund Offer price for units would be Rs. 10 each during the New Fund Offer Period. Entry load will be nil and Exit load will be 1% of the applicable NAV -If units purchased or switched in from another scheme of the Fund are redeemed or switched out on or before 1 year from the date of allotment, and NIL -If units purchased or switched in from another scheme of the Fund are redeemed or switched out after 1 year from the date of allotment. The Scheme offers Growth Option and Income Distribution Cum Capital Withdrawal Option for investment and seeks to collect a Minimum Target Amount of Rs 10 crore.

The performance of the scheme will be benchmarked against BSE 500 TRI (Total Return Index). The minimum application amount is Rs 5000 and in multiples of Re.1 thereafter.

The investment objective of the scheme is to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing in equity & equity related securities with focus on riding business cycles through dynamic allocation between various sectors and stocks at different stages of business cycles in the economy.
