Copper futures settle down on Wednesday
Oct-16-2025

Copper futures settled down on Wednesday pressured by warnings of potential slowdown in artificial intelligence growth. Moreover, continuing trade tensions between the US and China also weighed on copper prices. However, a weaker US dollar limited some falls in copper prices.

Copper futures for December delivery fell $0.008 to settle at $5.0145 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. However, Copper on the London Metal Exchange was up by 0.60% at $10,641 a ton.
