Copper futures were trading marginally higher on Monday as traders braced for a key meeting between the US President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskiy, while investors also looked ahead to the Federal Reserve's Jackson Hole symposium for more policy clues. Steady dollar also supported copper prices’ up-move.

Copper futures for September delivery gained $0.0035 or 0.08% at $4.4960 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange.
