Tata Steel's Indian business reports marginal fall in crude steel production in Q1FY26

Tata Steel's Indian business has registered 0.19% fall in crude steel production at 5.26 million tons (MT) (Provisional) in Q1FY26 as compared to 5.27 MT in Q1FY25. Its deliveries report 3.85% fall to 4.75 MT in the Q1FY26 period from 4.94 MT a year ago. 

Tata Steel Netherlands liquid steel production in Q1FY26 was 1.70 MT and deliveries were 1.50 MT. Production as well as deliveries were marginally higher on YoY basis. Tata Steel UK is serving its customers via downstream processing of purchased substrate. Deliveries for the quarter stood at 0.60 MT. Work on the EAF project is progressing with construction at Port Talbot on course to commence this month.
